A high, soft lob shot over a bunker used to be one of the most difficult shots to hit for the average golfer. The reason the lob caused so much difficulty in the past was because it forced you to make dramatic adjustments in your setup, clubface position and swing. Not anymore.
By using a 60-degree wedge (right), you completely eliminate the need to make any adjustments in your swing. The club is designed specifically to make the ball fly high and short and land soft.
To play the lob shot with the 60-degree wedge, your swing key should be to keep your right elbow loose. You want to get the shaft vertical as quickly as possible on this shot, and the only way to do so is by bending your right elbow. If you keep your right elbow relaxed and loose, it will be able to hinge (1) and unhinge (2) properly.
