Golfers of all levels often overlook the most basic yet effective tee-
shot strategy available to them.
It works like this:
…If you draw or hook the ball, tee your ball up as far left as you can between the tee markers and aim down the right hand side of the driving area. This creates much more room for your ball to eventually end up in the fairway.
If you tee it up on the right side of the tee and aim down the right, chances are your ball will finish up in the left rough or whatever other trouble is on the left.
If you fade or slice the ball, tee it up on the right side of the area between the tee markers and aim down the left side of the driving area. The effect is the same as described above.
One final thought: Never aim to an area where a straight shot will hurt you.
