Dear Mr. Patri,

This is Jason, who you played golf with today at Island’s End. I had a feeling I would find you on-line, as I ascertained from our brief interaction, that you were a golf coach. I just wanted to say that I thought your teaching and demeanor was outstanding. So much so, that I found myself looking you up after. That kid Jack has a wonderful swing and discipline about the game, which I assume is due to your work. I know this is extremely random, but I wanted to drop you a note. That was only the third time I’ve swung the clubs in 12 months, so my game was really off at times, but it’s the first time I’ve broken 87 in five years because I felt I had to keep up with you two! ( I don’t play much living in NYC).

Sorry to bother you, I just wanted to say you really came across as a great teacher, and I thought I should pass that because completely random compliments should be given from time to time.
