Many people today consider this a fad. When you talk to a player about sports psychology they may look
at you with a grimace. Yet, many of the greatest players in the world employ the services of a sports psychologist to work on their mental skills with drills much the same way they would putting or chipping.
They practice these to improve things like focus, concentration and visualization, words that to the average player are nothing more than catch phrases, yet if applied, could contribute significant improvement in their game.
